From May 5th to 7th, our team spent three intensive days in Tallinn, Estonia, for a partnership meeting with 5 partner organizations of the Teach Peace project.
A key highlight of our trip was the LTTA. This meeting was truly international, bringing together not only project partners but also dedicated adult educators from Estonia, Finland, Poland, Ukraine, and Austria to share their expertise and vision.
The first part of our LTTA was dedicated to the Teach Peace Training Programme. We presented our concept: a flexible, digital, and topic-oriented training programme designed for self-education and professional development. We dived deep into the module structure, exploring topics, strategies, my and facilitation prompts. To see the program in action, we conducted practical exercises on r esilience, dialogue, and civic engagement, allowing participants to experience the methodology firsthand.
The second half of the day focused on the Workbook for Adult Educators. We introduced the core concept of this guide, which is designed for those who want to work with peace education in a dialogic and learner-centered way. Educators worked in pairs to brainstorm and evaluate the practicality and quality of the workbook. It was inspiring to see experts from different countries discussing how to make these tools as effective as possible for their local communities.
At the end of our meeting, we gathered invaluable feedback and recommendations from the educators regarding both the training program and the workbook. Each participant made a truly unique contribution, helping us ensure that our peace education materials are both adaptable and practical for real-world use.
The next step for us is to integrate all the valuable input and bring everything together to create one concise, clear, practical, and easy-to-use training programme and workbook for adult educators.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to shape the future of peace education! ![]()
