The “Teach Peace” project is currently working on an important stage – a needs assessment of trainers and adult educators across Europe. Our aim is to collect information that will help us better understand which skills, practices and knowledge are most needed to support adults in conflict resolution, strengthening dialogue, and fostering engaged, collaborative communities. On Erasmus + days, we are pleased to introduce the Teach Peace project, an Erasmus+ initiative dedicated to strengthening peace education and dialogue practices among adults across Europe. 💬 The objective of the project is to develop a peace education program that can be widely implemented in adult education and other sectors. Through Teach Peace, we’re creating opportunities for adults to develop skills that strengthen understanding, dialogue, and active citizenship. Our goal is to strengthen educators’ competences in dialogue, cooperation, and conflict resolution — helping build more inclusive and understanding communities across Europe. On 8–9 September 2025, the partners of the Teach Peace project gathered in Kauniainen, Finland, to officially launch the initiative within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme. Hosted by Työväen Akatemia, the project coordinator, the meeting brought together representatives from Finland, Poland, Estonia, and Ukraine, marking the beginning of a shared journey dedicated to promoting peace through adult education.
