Työväen Akatemia (Finland)
Työväen Akatemia (Workers’ Academy) is a folk high school set up in 1924 to provide university level education to working adults. During the academic year, our learners take one-year courses in subjects such as history, social sciences, law, psychology and languages. Työväen Akatemia has coordinated and taken part in a range of international Erasmus+ projects dealing with topics such as guidance and counselling, digital education, and, more recently, peace education.
