NGO "Youth Space" was founded in 2014 by students for the development of youth policy in Zakarpattia region. From now on, he cooperates with the MUSOL organization. Which was founded in 1998 by a group of local authorities, professionals, experts and researchers who focus their interests and professional careers in the field of local Spanish administration.
Francesco Filippi and Massimo Alessandra, representatives of MUSOL, visited Transcarpathia to investigate the problems and needs of IDPs in regional communities.
Mykola Syusko told about the work of the NGO "Space of Youth" in Uzhhorod.

Meetings with representatives of Transcarpathian territorial communities were held with Svyatoslav Margolych.
The first point is the Irshava community, the village of Osii.
Almost 100 children from all over the country live in the camp. From 5 to 18 years. Mariupol, Kherson region, Kyiv region, Kharkiv region, Donetsk region, and Luhansk region are among the regions most affected by the war. They live without their parents, with whom there is still no contact. Someone lives with siblings, someone moved in alone. 5-6 people live in a room. These are the children who settled here in the first days of the war, got there by evacuation trains.
Meals are organized by the community, 5 times a day. Sports activities and excursions are arranged for children. Volleyball, football games, for which the sports ground is equipped. They have physical education teachers who organize it all.
The organization "Volunteers of Transcarpathia" works with this camp.
The Irshava Territorial Community finances the food. UNICEF and the non-governmental international organization for children's rights help with financial support. Nothing comes from state funds.
" In general, they can support children, but supplies are running out. They also need appliances, including household appliances. We spoke with the head of the village council, Vasyl Ivanovich Turyaninin, who told us about the needs and problems ," Svyatoslav Margolych said.
The next point is Batyovo.
We visited the "Zdybank" hub. "Kyiv Dialog", USAID and "Youth Space" helped to open this hub. About 40 families - women and children - live in this location. At the beginning of the war there were 90 families.
Regarding employment for IDPs: some went to work on the railway, some go to Berehovo, others - at the ski factory in Chop.
They also run out of food - they need food, especially those that perish quickly, but are rich in vitamins: fruits, vegetables and meat.
About 30 families can be accommodated in the Batyov dormitory. But inside, everything needs to be put in order, with living conditions. For this, it is necessary to find about 7.2 million hryvnias.
The families live at the school in the village of Bakosh. The first floor is reserved for families, and the second floor is for the educational process. The entrances are separated - one for families, another for schoolchildren, so that they do not cross each other. The canteen works for everyone, they are fed according to the schedule. Locals cook everything.
There is a schedule of activities for children in the Bakosh shelter, which are held at various locations, the assembly hall has been converted for movie screenings.
On public grounds, there are IDPs who hold events in "Zdybanka". For example, a woman from the Kherson region is a psychologist who arranges trainings.
There are at least beds in the village of Osii, but only mattresses in Bativ. School classrooms on the first floor look like apartments.
Thus, the MUSOL organization in the person of its representatives Francesca Filippi and Massimo Alessandro visited the shelters and organizations of Transcarpathia, which help IDPs to adapt and arrange proper living conditions.
