On 9–10 September 2026, the partners of the Teach Peace project gathered in Vienna, Austria, for a transnational project meeting hosted by Fremde werden Freunde.

Ukraine came together to review the progress of the project, discuss the achievements of recent months and plan the next steps towards the final stage of implementation.
The project is now entering its main phase — the publication of the project resources “Building Peace through Dialogue” and their piloting at the local level with adult educators and learners across partner countries.
During the meeting, partners discussed the progress of the key project outputs, including:
Training Programme for adult educators
Guidebook for designing learning experiences
A set of ready-to-use activities for teachers, trainers and community practitioners
The upcoming phase will focus on finalising and publishing these resources, testing them through local piloting activities, gathering feedback from educators and learners, and adapting the materials into partner languages — Finnish, Polish, Estonian, German and Ukrainian — to make them accessible to a wider European audience.
Through this process, the project aims to support adult educators and learners in developing practical skills for dialogue, inclusion and peacebuilding, while promoting the role of peace education in communities across Europe.
All materials developed within the “Building Peace through Dialogue” project will soon be available online at https://teachpeace.info/. The resources will support adult educators, trainers and community practitioners in applying practical tools for dialogue, inclusion and peace education in their work.
