Today, we mark the International Day of Peace. This year’s theme — “Invest in Peace: For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day” — reminds us that peace is not only shaped by institutions and global decisions. It is also built through everyday actions, respectful dialogue and the way we respond to differences in our communities.
This message is closely connected with Teach Peace – Building Peace Through Dialogue.
Through our Erasmus+ cooperation project, partners from Finland, Poland, Estonia, Austria and Ukraine are developing practical resources to support peace education for adults and help educators bring dialogue, reflection and peacebuilding practices into their everyday work.
The project materials include a Training Programme, a Guidebook for designing learning experiences, and ready-to-use activities for teachers, trainers and community practitioners. All resources will be available in English, Finnish, Polish, Estonian, German and Ukrainian.
